Pat calls at the post office to collect a registered letter to the camp site, and a parcel for Granny Dryden. It is a cloudy morning, but the sun brightens up, and Pat is having a late day after his van gets stuck in the mud. Even the letters are wet when Pat goes to the post office to collect them.
